i don't think Trails through Daybreak II is as big of a flub as some do, but I spent an inordinate of time being pissed off at the story and writing Daybreak 1 was guilty of many of the things that plague this game (bloat and a toxic aversion to series tropes), but I was really digging the gameplay

I have a borderline abusive relationship with the Trails series, y'all Most of the time I'm tapping my foot waiting for cutscenes to "hurry up," constantly appalled at the rampant tropes, and frustrated when small-scale characterization is defiled by grand scheme plotting...but I still hang heavy
