There’s a degree of market manipulation, but also all the other Gulf States are sick of what he’s doing and put a lot of pressure on him. There would be a big Iranian retaliation on their infrastructure if Trump went ahead and wasted the US’ remaining munitions in a heavy strike to achieve nothing.
