There is ignorance, which can be remedied, and willful ignorance which cannot. For the record, their idol recently endorsed a man of color with a name that sounds Islamic. Not a word against him have I heard for this gross transgression. You cannot cure stupid.

The booing of what sounds like a foreign (and no doubt in the man's mind, 'Islamic') name, really speaks volumes about the mindset of some Trump supporters. Even when Trump is gone, this white Christian nationalist section of US society will still remain.

The danger lies not only in his persistence in living in a delusion but in ALL those, including Senators and Congresspeople, who persist in feeding that delusion, knowing it to be false and dangerous. Yet another reason why Dems need to take control of those houses.

The war in Iran has shown that Trump’s inability to perceive reality has become truly dangerous. Iran is a disaster, but Trump’s irrationality could create other, even more perilous situations. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

His persistent pursuits of prosecutions against his so-called enemies is costing us many thousands of dollars, as well as costing those he persecutes. It's time every one of those people starts counter-suing for malicious prosecution.

Michigan deserves a senator who actually lives in the state, takes time to talk to Michiganders, listen, and work to solve the problems they face, NOT someone who has already indicated he serves one man, who is hurting Michiganders. It's that simple folks. We don't need another Trump tool in DC.

El-Sayed: "Mike Rogers is a guy who wants to put a data center in your backyard so he can make himself feel a little more manly by making an AI video ... he's a guy who went back to Florida so he could lick every single boot Donald Trump owns to bet for his endorsement."

The literature on leadership will tell you that anyone who puts people around him who only tell him what he wants to hear rather than presenting him with facts on which to base decisions or take actions is a weak leader. DT's delusion is deepening by the day, and that puts all of us at risk.

The Reflecting Pool saga is a perfect diorama of how right-wing media turns Trump’s fantasies into public reality, and then tries to quietly conceal the wreckage once the facts catch up.

I hope and pray that there will be no purity litmus test that will keep those whose preferred candidate did not win the primary from supporting whoever did. It's a numbers game, folks, and Dems need to be in the majority and they need to pull together. Independents need to get on board as well.

No matter who wins tonight's primaries in Michigan, the state Democratic party is launching a rally for all of the top nominees on Friday in Detroit. Pete Buttigieg will join the event - seeking to unify, after a blistering fight between Abdul El-Sayed & Rep. Haley Stevens

The real tragedy of all this is that Republicans are scared about losing their jobs and perhaps their access to the rich and powerful, but have no care at all about doing their jobs to protect and serve the people. This is the rot at the core of our political system now.

Jen Rubin@jenrubin.bsky.social · 2d ago

Trump’s personal economy may be “thriving,” thanks to $2B in ill-gotten gains since returning to office, but Americans are not. Republicans have every reason to fear they will pay a political price for this rotten economic record, unmitigated corruption, misguided priorities, and gross incompetence.

When hospitals have to post signs stating that they are places of healing and aggressive or violent behavior will not be tolerated you know we have descended to a new low. Shame on us for allowing this to happen.

Actually disgusting that nurses were treated like utter shit, overworked and dying during the pandemic and now RFK is on TV telling everyone that didn't happen. I can't even imagine a more thankless, hostile job right now.
