The Golden State is fully charged and ready to invest in more zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) infrastructure to establish a dependable and sustainable future. We are setting the gold standard for global clean energy leadership, despite the Trump administration’s attempts to undermine our efforts.

Governor Gavin Newsom@governor.ca.gov · 3d ago

California is speeding up zero-emission vehicle infrastructure construction. We're putting $95M toward more charging stations, more hydrogen refueling systems, and more workforce training opportunities. Instead of abandoning our future economy, California is taking the wheel.

Here in California, we’re investing in our children by making Universal Transitional Kindergarten (TK) available to every 4-year-old across the state, providing them access to free, high-quality early education. By starting earlier, we’re giving every child a strong foundation for learning.

With free TK available to every 4-year-old in the state, hundreds of thousands of families are saving up to $13,000 a year. 55% are already signed up. Talk about an affordability agenda.

That is why I am proud to co-sponsor SB 894 by @benallenca.bsky.social, which will establish the CA Wildfire Resilience Program, providing homeowners with affordable, low-interest financing for wildfire mitigation and resilience.

Today’s SCOTUS ruling is a win for every Californian who votes by mail and a rejection of the effort to throw those ballots out. Mail delays happen. When voters cast their ballot by Election Day, that ballot should count. The Court got this right.

BREAKING: In a huge win for voters across the country, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 to uphold grace periods for mail ballots. States CAN count ballots postmarked by Election Day but received after Election Day.
