Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.

Seeing complaints online that authors 'gatekeep' information…! Absolute nonsense. There is no industry or craft in the world which is so comprehensively written about, studied, and discussed as fiction writing, and every author I know welcomes new writers who are serious about giving it a go.

For writers worried that they won't be able to "prove" their work isn't Spicy Autocomplete--worry not. You thought about every choice and will be able to talk about those choices easily and clearly. Folks who used the slop machine didn't make choices and won't have anything to say about why

Explained to my daughter that I'm fairly relaxed about people increasingly relying on AI for every decision because eventually all those people will just walk into the sea and drown and we can have all their stuff, but she didn't seem 100% convinced.

the US is different from Europe in this regard, there may be a lot of far right shit here but “liberals” disaffected with the traditional left tend to go lib dem or green rather than the cheesy Farage/Le Pen used car crypto salesman. I can’t speak for extremists, they’re going to extreme whatever
