Does anyone have a standard doc they use when considering signing on to work with an org, that interrogates their policy on their use of GenAI? I’m putting one together, but curious about what other creative folks use. It seems wise to get it straight BEFORE proceeding to any contract negotiations.

The WOCKS PARTY is tomorrow! 10:30am at Art Maker’s Outpost in Evanston. BYO wock to showcase in the temporary Wock Museum! Plus, an author storytime, lots of free goodies and wock painting!

Here’s a quick speed-paint of my WOCKS character, to illustrate how I did the art for Searching For Wocks. I use watercolor, gouache and colored pencils. Using all these gave the art a lot of vibrancy and texture, which is perfect for a book about examining and admiring things closely.

What better way to show people your interests than to stick it right onto a water bottle? Or onto a laptop? Or anywhere that a sticker could technically be stuck? 👀 What's that? You thought of a better way? Sorry I can't hear you, I'm swimming in my PILE OF COOL STICKERS 🏊‍♂️ Topa.to/Stickers 🏊‍♂️

A graphic that reads "STICKERS" with various stickers that we sell on our store. They are all very cool looking stickers.

I’m all for this change. But it should have been an open call to the community, initiated months ago. Not 6 days prior. HCD is important to me. I take pains to plan in advance and ensure I have childcare, that I’m not on deadline, and that I can bring together local artists to draw in community.

Hourly Comics Day has MOVED! It's the 20th anniversary and we're taking a stand alongside our Black cartoonist members and friends to demand a change to honor Black History Month- draw your comics on the 8th, not the 1st! hourlycomicsday.com #hourlycomicsday #hourlycomicday #hcd

"IN OBSERVANCE & SOLIDARITY". Two black speech bubbles with white text read "HOURLY COMICS DAY IS NOW ON FEB 8TH. CARTOONISTS HONOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH. FEB 1 - MAR 1". There is an illustration of a black silhouetted hand raised and holding a pen in the top right, and an illustration of a nib pen and an ink well personified on the bottom right. The nib and ink are bumping fists. A URL at the bottom is "hourlycomicsday.com".
