I was fortunate enough to be awarded the @geneticsaus.bsky.social Spencer Smith-White Conference award which allowed me to attend GSA in Brisbane last week and present some of my PhD work. It’s always great to re-connect with the society and was an honour to be recognised by GSA! #GSA2026

I was lucky enough to spend last week at ANU in Canberra learning about conservation and the genomics of populations from Fred Allendorf and guest speakers. Keen to now apply everything I learnt towards my own work!
