Loved spending time at @barclaysuk @eaglelabs 🦅 in Vulcan Works yesterday to meet the founders building the next generation of #Northampton businesses 🚀 Inspiring to hear individual stories of dedication, innovation & passion for serving our local community & far beyond.

£50 billion mobilised. 802,000 jobs supported. Britain's public finance institutions (better known as the PuFins…) are backing businesses all over the country & driving growth 🇬🇧 Brilliant to join UK Export Finance & the PuFins to mark 1 year since publication of our Industrial Strategy.

Millions watched the British Grand Prix at Silverstone but they may not know how much of motorsport’s story was built here in Northampton. For 60 years, Cosworth has produced world-class engineering, creating skilled jobs & exporting Northampton innovation across the globe. 🏎️

1 year on from the publication of the Government’s 10-Year Infrastructure Strategy 👷‍♀️🏡🏭⚡️ Good to speak to NISTA about progress against the Strategy, & how we can continue our strong partnership with industry to unlock further investment & accelerate delivery.
