One of the highlights on the first day of the main conference was the bestowal of the “David B. Martin Best Paper Award” – also see https://europe.naverlabs.com/awards-and-competitions/david-b-martin/ The award went to the paper “Working Practices in Welding: A Qualitative Study on Knowledge and Expertise Sharing in the Welding IndustryNils Boecking, Sarah Reichel, Sven Hoffmann, Aparecido Fabiano Pinatti de Carvalho, Volker Wulf The David B. Martin Best Paper Award was established 2017 in memory of the late Dr. David Martin, a stalwart member of the ECSCW community and Associate Editor of the CSCW journal. The award is generously sponsored by Naver Labs (previously Xerox Research Centre Europe).
