I learned this morning that filmmaker Justin Hardy has died. Speaking with Justin and Dominic Hardy about Children of the Wicker Man became one of the most affecting interviews I have done.

Indie horror is at its best when it feels like someone made the movie because they absolutely had to, even if nobody else understood why.

The phone was already haunted. Now it has movies. TerrorFilms is bringing Beliath and Episode 12 to MicrohouseFilms as mobile-first vertical horror. I remain suspicious, but “lost paranormal TV episode on the device that tracks your every movement” is a strong argument.
