Thinking about how much discussion there is surrounding the knight's identity in Deltarune. Considering that Toby in his own words said "If Mother 3 gets ported to the west, you'd realize how unoriginal I am". It's pretty clear that Toby is likely going to pull a Masked Man-esque reveal.

A piece for a short story I am writing. The image depicts a black and white photo of a creature hunched over around the corner of the outside of a house at night. The creature’s form is unable to be properly captured by the camera. Giving a ghostly ethereal appearance.

The creature depicted in the photo is a Crescent. A lesser demon that stands about 8 feet tall on average. These are soulless mindless servants of a moon deity.

The story behind the photo in the story is about multiple sightings along the Appalachian trail. Sightings of a strange creature known under multiple names.

The Gargoyle of Appalachia
The Appalachian Devil
Eastside Stone Ghoul

These names of course are what mortals have chosen to call it. They lack the knowledge of its true origins and name.

The photo’s significance in the story is that it is one of the central motivations for a group of three friends to go “hunting” for the creature. Three eccentric supernatural loving young adults.

They would go together along the Appalachian trail in search of evidence for the cryptid. But they would never return home.
