Nova Umbra

They/them, 21+, fanfic writer and reader, currently on a bhna/mha kick and obsessed with KiriBaku, multishipper https://archiveofourown.org/users/Lurking_Umbra

Buckle up, this one may hurt #krbk TW: self-deprecation, crying, anxiety, panic attacks, someone give Katsuki a hug ❤️💧🧡 The worst part of the day is when it winds down. The sky becomes sluggish as rich blues give way to cozy golds. Somehow the air feels different—like time slows.

Everyone should check out the Popcorn and Pillowforts krbk zine when it comes out!

💭 CONTRIB INTRO #22 Happy to introduce @lurking-supernova.bsky.social 💫 Nova has been writing for many years. A long-time KRBK fan, their characterization strikes sweet and true. Look forward to Nova's piece - it's domestic fluff through and through! [ #MHA ][ #BNHA ][ #KRBK ][ #KiriBaku ]

A contributor intro graphic. It reads:

Nova Umbra (Writer)
Nova has been writing stories since about the time they first learned to write. They have come a long way from their first days of clunky fanfic on ff.net to now. They have loved Bakugou since they first started watching MHA and KiriBaku quickly became their top tier ship.

Excerpt from "Stuttering Ink, Distracted Heart":

"You know, I don't think you're really as bad as everyone said you were," Kirishima stated, looking at Katsuki intently.

Katsuki immediately looked away, unsure how to meet his eye and tell him that he usually was that mean around strangers. That the only reason Kirishima thought he was so nice was because of Kirishima himself and that he usually made a horrible impression on people he met for the first time. The only reason he had managed to keep anyone around for long enough to consider them friends was because of their own stubbornness against his rather abrasive personality.

Kirishima was just different, had been from the start, even if Katsuki couldn't quite pinpoint why.

Everyone saying "make weird art!" you better fucking mean it. There better not be an unspoken "but not too weird" tacked on at the end.

Commenting on your favorite fics can and will give the author about 50 SP each time. When enough SP is gained, the author can then write again. That's just how it works. Hope this helps!!!
