I did a value study of one of the Revolutionary War paintings (The Surrender of Lord Cornwallis, John Trumbull) It's actually a super cool exercise. If you grayscale an image and blur it, then paint the low valued areas, you get something like this #digital #art #paintings #drawing #surreal
