In August 2023 I did a post ride stretch with Bradley Rose that was set to Harry Styles’ Sign of the Times. I liked the class bc it hit everything I need to stretch after a ride- been doing it ever since. Now, whenever Harry Styles comes up I react as though a mate from the gym was mentioned. 🤷‍♂️

I think my dad would have enjoyed the way sometimes I’ll tell people more than I know they want to hear about my grief about him to make them go away. I’d always find him laughing after I did things I was sure were only funny to me.

People have to weigh in. It’s part of balancing all the weight. If they didn’t weigh in, all the weight would be out, and then it’s a whole seesaw catastrophe, and before you know it, the in is out and the out is still out and all the weight is out and inside is weightless.

sad to see Colbert go. otoh I am kind of looking forward to “Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed” falling down the stairs. You’d think whoever would have taken that slot might have had an actual idea… but it’s cbs so I guess you can wing anything in with anodyne non-pitches.

I enjoy that the aggro Suno people bypassed any of the joy of creativity and went straight for the default position of being “that band that is always online arguing with everyone for not recognizing how great they are.” The low effort jams to constant online drama pipeline has been perfected.

My brain is so deeply convinced that Steal Away is really a doobie bros song that it replaces the robbie dupree vocal with MM’s voice when I hear it in my head. Then when I hear the actual track, I’m like “this sounds weird.”
