Yes! What better use of a bunch of tickets in Honkai: Star Rail than to E6 my first ever limited 5-star character? Also, my first ever Yanqing from the limited banner (he's E3 because I keep choosing him in selectors but the poor guy never seems to surprise me when I lose the 50:5).
One of the best parts about being an adult is that nobody can tell you off for covering your brand new robot vacuum cleaner with silly DELTARUNE stickers. Its name is Queen, by the way.
Why is every cinema in London apparently showing the new Spider-Man with captions during work hours on the same stupid day (Tuesday), if they're showing it captioned at all? It's possible for people with bad hearing to have jobs, you know. 🙄
Ok, last batch of the summer 2026 anime first episodes. The Elusive Samurai season 2 (逃げ上手の若君 第二期) is more of the same (fortunately), jumping straight back into the antics of runaway clan heir Houjou Tokiyuki and the band of overpowered misfits who serve as his protectors.
It keeps surprising me that 'larper' is now mainstream slang (complete with a slightly different meaning).

I think I have now recovered from Hyper Japan day 1. Quick highlights. QUEEN BEE were amazing (again), really glad I got to see them twice in two days! I managed to get a really good viewing position too so I could actually see the entire band this time. Also enjoyed the food and the artists 💕
Managed to tour all of the stalls and finish the Rouxls Kaard stamp rally so it's been a successful day so far.
Thank goodness I managed to get a good seat at the Hyper Japan stage! Looking forward to a second dose of Queen Bee in an hour but my feet and overwhelmed brain appreciate a less exhausting experience this time. And hopefully I'll be able to see this time (being short and liking live music sucks).
