Like. We have to start from, we all understand that Nazis are bad. But does the average indoctrinated American citizen understand that the US is too? From my experience - no. Iโve discussed this topic & argued OPโs point for years online & IRL. A common response is incredulousness or rejection.

It drives home the understanding that we live in a connected eco-system and that evil doesn't simply manifest in a vacuum. Nazi Germany studied American fascism, particularly Jim Crow, very closely before committing the Holocaust.
