Not sure how noticeable it is but lately Ive been switching up my style a bit. Drawing the light instead of the shadows, been a really fun challenge Super proud of this new stuff in that style, I think it brings out a more painted quality I'm loving 😊 #art #artprocess #landscapeart #environmentart
A timeline of my art over the past few months~ It's satisfying to look back on what used to be the best thing you'd ever made and see how it compares to the new stuff. Feel free to quote post your own progress, I'd love to see! #art #artprogress #landscapeart #nature #smallartist #artistonbluesky

👁️ SEE/FEEL ❤️ More quicker work from me, a pair of parallel drawings This is me trying to split my mindset in half, the controlled and the detailed observations on one and the expressive, colourful and emotional on the other #art #illustration #natureillustration #insects #bugs #stilllife

🧵 Nobody talks about their art anymore. Short form social media combined with a general aversion to sincerity and vulnerability in online spaces (+cancel culture) has steered artists away from saying anything of value about their art. Worse, many will say something negative and nothing more. 1/6
Some of my favourite etchings from 2020. I've learned so much since then but never regained the productivity I had during lockdown. Only 2 weeks for a finished etching with 7h of focused work every day, crazy
We gotta collectively move past Harry Potter as a species. We no longer require it.
