Today makes seven days since I’ve been back in NYC, and it’s been the quietest week I’ve had in ages. After several exhausting months, it was long overdue.

I would never want to be too self-serious about my day job, and the fact that I regularly type silly phrases like “git stash pop” helps.

Because I’m a woman on the internet, the algorithm sends me content such as “things you can do to glow up in a month.” Let me tell you that half of them I was already doing, and the other half was unscientific nonsense. So I guess this is peak! Next stop: stagnation and decline!

I woke up to just enough messages about it snowing in the UK that I have to keep reminding myself that we’re not having a snow day here.
