After the destruction of Warsaw in 1944, members of my family ended up in Łódź after returning from camps. Decades later, a young German apologized to me simply because I was Polish. I told him we do not inherit our ancestors’ guilt or glory. History should teach us—not divide us. Yet it repeats.

Today no coding, today is metal day. today I played with one of my bands - AION - at Ostrów Rock Festival.

Yesterday it was 1st anniversary of Ozzy passing away… I recorded it year ago. Extracted original tracks, dropped them and added my own guitar tracks and recorded live. Garage Band + iMovie.
Just realised that it’s been almost 2 years since I visited Berlin last time (it was in Nov. 2024 for Sodom and Tankard concert - Teutonic Thrash Invasion). I miss Berlin so much and it is so close, just 6 hrs by car from Lodz. These photos I took 3 years ago, when I took my sons to Berlin.

Messaging my friends in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and checking if they are OK has been my morning routine for almost 4,5 years. Good thing is that Ukraine is winning and orcs left only with blitz like strategy that didn’t work in London and doesn’t in Kyiv, Kharkiv and other UA cities.

Two photos. The 1st is my death metal band - SACRIVERSUM - before every gig. Pure death metal! The 2nd is the same band after a few shots/beers, singing sea shanties at the club or back at the hotel. 😄 Yes, when we party we sing sea shanties. That's why we call our party alter ego - SHANTYVERSUM :)
