If you’d told me Samantha Morton was in the Odyssey, I’d have been at that stuff opening day. Okay, I still wouldn’t have because I didn’t have the $. (I would have been there opening day anyway.) But now I’m definitely hoping things change for the $$$ in time to catch it in theaters.

One of the nice things about an advanced foreign language degree is that you learn the difference between translation and adaptation of a work, and it’s fine. Both have a right to exist. You don’t have to partake of what you don’t like.

Back on my Rutshire Chronicles BS after a few post-Apassionata months away (not counting Rivals Season 2). Next up: bringing it all the way back to book no. 1, Riders, which wasn’t available as an audiobook when I first started this nonsense but came out on the fall.

The variegated Philodendron Gloriosum (type 2 - I’m not rich, lol) that I’ve been growing from tissue culture has just put out the most, er, glorious leaf. (Don’t judge my algae-overridden perlite.)

Absolutely cannot wait for more Sheila Atim. As always. She makes everything she’s a part of better, and this is no exception.
