Belem Tower, one day after I was supposed no longer to be here …
Tell me the book buyer for your gift shop doesn’t know what they are doing, without telling me the book buyer for your gift shop doesn’t know what they are doing …
So… the latest McDonalds Happy Meal toys in the US are apprently Hello Kitty characters wearing Godzilla costumes .. They have surely gotta be appearing in all sorts of game systems in the near future !
optimist: the cup is half full pessimist: the cup is half empty Ancients wargamer: yes, but is the glass being “exactly at” half full the same as it being “within” half empty? And does the half way mark itself have a nominal thickness ?
So… a few years back I bought this 3d printed GW pot holder-open thingy from eBay.. and today I buy a brand new pot of Contrast.. which is “just” a little too fat to fit in it. So immediately I think “Are GW really upsizing all their paint pots just to undermine a 3rd party 3D print eBay seller?”
I bought a printed ship complete with sails… this will be interesting seeing how close I can get it to look like a Warlord one !
These FiB lancers have been painted with leather armour instead of metal - the figures are the same as some of the "heavy cavalry" I posted last week, just the paint is different!
Just rebased some old Xyston “15mm Rep Roman” range peltasts - seen here next to some Essex 15mm bowmen, and I had forgotten what absolute monsters these guys were. They are so out of scale that they could almost have been the inspiration for Homers Medieval Foot Knights in The Odessey ! #Odessey

I’d been toying with giving #Battletech a try for a while now, and after tonight’s gig I now have a theory about which clan to go for and also how to paint them up as well. #FlamingLips

Ostrogoths in Milton Keynes : Battle Reports from Campaign 2026 now posted, all in video format with an experimental "top-down" view to show most of the (so-called) action. www.madaxeman.com/reports/Camp...
Almost-done Sarmatian leather-armoured lancers (“that’s ‘Medium Cavalry’ to you Chief”) - trigger warning, may appear as other generic “blokes on horses with too much hair” in future batreps. #15mm #Sarmatian (is that a hashtag?) #FiB #ADLG
