Halloween Kills got me thinking about Camp Miasma, honestly. How these long running franchises oscillate between trying new things and going back to the well. This movie does both, reaching for meta and nostalgia at the same time, and I honestly love it for that. Respecting the attempt tbh
“Dragon Quest Your Story” definitely went some places I really was NOT expecting but on the way there it really had some precious choice DQ moments that made me smile 🥰

Halloween 2 (2009) is an absolute delight and one of the best Halloween sequels going. Zombie feels like he finally is free to make it exactly as he wants, giving us Laurie struggling with her trauma and her family lineage, Loomis being just a dirtbag, Michael as brutal as ever - it’s a great film!
Ngl the Rob Zombie Halloween remake is ups and downs. One big up is the girl gang, with baddest baddie ever Danielle Harris playing Annie. They’re all also pretty gay for each other, which helps 😌

“Hope” directed by Na Hong-jin was just a banging good time from start to finish. Always kept me guessing, I was never bored in 2.5hr runtime. I hope they make a bunch of these bc I will be seated for every single one. See this on a nice big screen with some good Dolby sound if you can!
