If you are a casting director, then I beg of you to make sure you check yourselves when casting. Don’t consider publicity. Consider the project. Lemme repeat that: Do not consider the publicity of a casting. Consider the effort and skill for the project. People will notice if you choose poorly.
Yaaay! I got the bot, that @juneyoon.actor and @voiceofphilip.com have been warning about, validating me as a voice actor! Lol. This bot is scamming up and coming voice actors into getting their info via Skype and Whatsapp. Report and block, like I just did.
A huge red flag is speaking in vague terms. A real company would proudly tell you which company they represent, the name of the supervisor, and would also specify the sound they’re looking by for in a voice actor “40-50s British Female” or literally ANY description.
