Bees pollinate roughly 75% of the world’s flowering plants. Without them, much of what we eat and drink — fruit, coffee, almonds, and more — simply wouldn’t exist.
A city can feel like the opposite of a garden: concrete instead of soil, strangers instead of neighbors. Isolation is rising alongside urbanization.
There's still time to support our crowdfunder. 🌳 Until 21 July, your donation can help us unlock match funding, increasing your impact for #nature. Support #rewilding today 👉 maearth.com/trees-for-li... #MaEarthRound3 @maearth.com

This episode is a beautiful on-ramp to the vision behind the @maearth.com funding model. I have big hopes for this work unleashing new capital rivers formed by the collective, to the collective.
In this episode, Nate is joined by Matthew Monahan, co-founder of the nonprofit @maearth.com, to explore the emerging field of regenerative finance.
Rivers don’t stop at a border. Neither does the salmon run, the migratory flyway, or the fungal network beneath a forest floor.

Mangroves are the classic ecotone, where marine and terrestrial worlds meet. Their tangled roots hold coastlines in place, shelter countless species, and lock carbon deep in the mud, earning them the name "blue carbon" ecosystems.
Many cultures have revered mountains as sacred beings, bridging earth and sky. Water falls from their clouds, feeding rivers that nourish all on the way to the oceans. Mountains play a mighty and important role in our web of life. Now the law is catching up.
