THE PITCH

Isaiah spends his days tending to the last garden on a frozen Earth, convinced that humanity’s endless winter is God’s divine judgment.

When the Council announces that a crew of souls will be chosen to carry humanity to a new heaven among the stars, Isaiah believes he has found his divine purpose. But as he competes for a place aboard the sacred vessel, buried truths begin to surface, forcing him to question the future awaiting humanity and the faith that has shaped his entire life.

THE OPENING

“On the first day, God withdrew his Light.”

The brothers' voices rose as one, filling the vaulted chamber with a rhythm Isaiah had recognized since before he could read the sacred Texts himself. The words rolled through the cavernous sanctuary, echoing from steel columns and painted walls.

Isaiah bowed his head, but not before stealing a glance from beneath the shadow of his hood.
