dear angel November approaching with her bloody sword drawn, wearing her latest iteration of angelic uniform and a bright smile on her face. she speaks the phrases “fie, fie, dear witch! your blood sings such a beautiful song alas, it is not your song to sing!” ———— i wanted to design the angel uniform to evoke a nun’s attire while also making it a bit slutty. this is primarily because i want it to be a bit slutty, but it’s got the thigh cutouts and the general form because it’s also meant to evoke the holy symbol i have on her chest. the symbol of the blood angels is supposed to look vaguely cruciform, and is meant to represent a sun over a lake, and the blood seeping into the lake down into the earth is representative of the death of the first angel that then bestowed its power to the rest of the world. that kind of thing. it is a thinly-veiled trans-adjacent symbol too, considering it’s like a pseudo-hybrid of the mars and venus symbols with some sunrays, but i like that the uniform is able to also evoke it. aside from that, angels carry the little belt that has a holy book of some variety and purifying flasks for their typical tasks of eliminating errant singers in the world. november’s holy book is not one for proselytizing, but a record of her own exploits and feelings on things she has handled as an absolver. she always hopes to share it more often.
