Khallil wanted to be tall, and he believed he could only become tall if a become a man. Khallil, true name Kali, wanted to be like her brother, tall and strong, she associated beauty, strength and tallness with masculinity and believed she could only be that if she became a man.

#wolqotd | #wolquestion what was the catalyst to your wol/oc leaving their home to journey? was it a willing choice, or one born out of necessity?

For Khallil: + Protective + Jack-of-all-Trades + Inteligent - Master-of-Non - Vain - Depressive (pathologically)

Khal'lil Varysia? Khal-lil= call-lil (as in "lil guy"). Not kah-lil. Khal-Lil. Varysia: Vah-wree-zee-yah.

#wolqotd / #wolquestion How do you pronounce your wol / oc’s name?

After finishing my first Sherlock Holmes novel I can say for a fact I love Sherlock Holmes until Sherlock Holmes starts talking. Then it’s “OMG! Get to the point!” “Pompous prick.”

Khal has now made a sim of Thordan, Zephirin, Lipstick Mage and that asshole Knights Temple he dueled back in the day, Fandaniel, and Zenos, Llorito and he's now just watching them kill themselves on The Sims 4 with their stupidity while he drinks tea. Its been therepeutic.

#wolqotd A twist on the usual question: Your WoL/OC is transported to the last non-FFXIV game you played. How do they fare? And if the game doesn't have a world like, I guess, Tetris or something, then they're just playing it. Are they any good at it?

Khallil deserves more love. So I drew him looking tired. #myart #art #digitalart #fanart #ffxivart #ffxiv #ffxivoc

I have missed u baby boy. #ffxiv #au_ra #ffxivoc

24 man is most definitely the Nier ones. Khal to this day still thinks about Konogg and Anogg. He sure hopes Konogg is well and has many conflicting feelings about Komra since then. He still returns to Komra whenever is on the First. Part of him knows he’s never going to hear of the boy again.

No, seriously, #makeaterriblecomicday #makeaterriblecomicday2026

I am not a fan of G'Raha. He lives vicariously through the WoL. He wants to live an adventure with the hero and on the paper its whimsy and understandable, but In my HC, G'Raha (and Alisae too) dont see a person in the WoL, but this idealized fantasy of what a hero should be.

#wolqotd What's an opinion that will have people at your throats like this?

Finish it first fix it later. You can at any point return to a finished work you are not entirely satisfied with to make it better. But it will never be anything if you dont finish it.

ARTISTS: quote with some random art advice!!

My FF session today was unproductive so to make myself happy I took some pics of Khal's guns for science. Science has proven that he does carry a license. #ffxiv #ffxiv_oc #ffxivwol

I thought of many songs, but this is the song. This is Khal's LB3 song! Teraflare the BJ Bros, DRK doomtrain on braindead, everyone's dead but the Astro LB3. Dragon's Awakening.

#WoLQOTD It’s the big moment. Your OC’s giving it everything they’ve got, every last drop. Their back is to the wall. The chips are down. It’s Ichigo hitting the bankai. It’s Frieren unsealing her mana. Time to show why they have their reputation. What’s the background music?

Ishgard and Garlemald have made Khal quite tolerant to cold. Khal is more tolerant to cold, and he prefers it. He can always ad extra layers if he feels chilly, while there's a point he can't remove more clothes and he's selective of the amount and location of skin he shows.

MissSunFlower | missing GATEway FATE hours@misssunflower94.bsky.social · 4mo ago

#WoLQotD: what is your WoL/OC’s heat tolerance vs cold tolerance? do they thrive in Ul’dah and hate every second spent in Coerthas or vice versa? how do they combat this when they have to be in an environment they’re ill suited for?

Decorum and modesty. I originally planned for Khal to be such a 'whore', and now he's kinda of a prude. The closest to him showing skin is the story-spinner set and the Voidmoon set and those don't count because he deems them appropriate for the context he wears them.

Go Portugal! Khal is giving you all his support all the way from Eorzea! #ffxiv #ffxivoc #portugal

Having to tell Lord Edmunt about his son. The First, Fort Jobb, seeing that death's counter go up. Urianger and Moen's parents scene. The Werlyt storyline. Everything involving Fordola. Drk Questline. Tank role questline in DT. All of them sucked yet that one left me with a smile. The end of EW.

#wolqotd What part of MSQ hit you with a hammer? For me, as a Dragon lore lover, Ultima Thule hit me like a ton of bricks. When I saw the name of the aethryte on the map & the areas surrounding it. I instantly knew & kept yelling in chat “I’m not going there. You cannot make me!” I was distraught.

The red hair, the green eyes, the resting bitch face and the heart of gold. Trauma, depression and pain hidden by vanity, problem solver by nature, values life to the fullest. Khalil wants to help, he accepts he can’t save everyone but he’ll try his damndest to. Foward is the way.

#wolquestion #wolqotd What traits make your wol(oc) your wol(oc)?

Some Khal and Khal with Imyril. Art I have a few but these two so far are my faves.

Imyril has tried to learn to vocalize the first syllible of Khal's name, she can vocalize "Al" (all) so far. She also has a very specific sign for him, a heart with her fingers over her own heart. But when referencing him by name to someone else she simply signs the letters K and L.

#wolqotd #wolquestion Does your WoLs partner(s) have any terms of endearment they like to use for them?

For Khal: 1) Khal's never going to fully recover his memory nor it's full potential 2) Khal's retainer, Tear, is the dragon who raised him 3) His mentor Jani is still looking for "her" 4) Khal has achieved his greatest desire, to become just like his brother

#wolqotd #wolquestion #ffxiv What's one thing you as a writer know that your WoL/OC doesn't?

Every now and then I find a hair that reminds me I love to see Khal with whites. #ffxiv #ffxivoc

Yes. Khal has plenty of scars. Some will fade but others are permanent. The permanent ones: - Aetherburns caused by Nidhogg; - Chest scar caused by Zenos; - Wrist scars (and identical scars on his inner thigh), self-inflected, he got during StB and ShB. - Eye Scar - Thanks Zenos.

TrappedSnake@trappedsnake.bsky.social · 12mo ago

#wolqotd Any scars or permanent injuries does your WoL/OC have?

Was taking drawing references. Though Khal would never use an undercut, I love that braid, so let's pretend there's no undercut. #ffxiv #ffxiv_aura #ffxiv_oc

Yes. Eorzea's equivalent to blue tin can nivea. Everyone talks of serums and potions and balms and this man is rocking at a flawless complexion and shiny scales with eorzea's nivea blue tin can. Would it be called Eorvea?

#wolqotd / #wolquestion Does your wol / oc have a skincare routine?

Khal is very much a bi-disaster. If you ask me, I think he personally just has a thing for moon looking characters. In his defense, he was certain he only liked guys, but then that lil lady'ra shattered his grief with an enciclopedia to the face and it was love at third book.

Khal prefers the moon and night sky. Do you know that animation where the moon is in love with the sun? That is Khal, only replace moon with the sun and vice-versa. He is the sun, staring obsessively at the night sky, fearing his fire will burn the moon, yet devotionally giving her his light warmth.
