It was about time Elliot wrote a song for Erica 😭 he took his time but you know he did it with all his heart 🤍 And after dealing with Jasper, it’s time for Irene to deal with the son 👀 Curious to hear your thoughts as always 🤍
Elliot sighs as she mentions Jasper. Until now, his father hadn't dared to stick his nose into his business. Irene, however, brushes off his remark with a wave of her hand. She knows Jasper better than anyone, and knows that for once, he’s doing this to protect his son, not to restrict his freedom.
As for Irene, she stops in front of Elliot and Erica, her gaze unmistakable, prompting Erica to quickly jump off her boyfriend’s lap. Elliot raises an eyebrow, confused—and a bith bothered—by her sudden presence.
Their conversation is soon interrupted by two new guests, one of whom takes Nicole and Isaac by surprise. Calia travelled the world to photograph every corner of it, so seeing her standing right there beside them feels like seeing a ghost—so much so that Isaac throws himself into her arms.
Nicole squints, suddenly studying Isaac closely. His glasses are clearly not just for style, but to hide huge dark circles under his eyes—a clear sign of a very restless night. As for his inappropriate comment, Isaac bites his lip, ashamed of himself and of blurting that out to his best friend.
Meanwhile, Isaac half-heartedly and absentmindedly searches for an additional accessory. Nicole isn't really paying attention to what he's saying, too focused on what's happening around them, until he suddenly becomes passive-aggressive toward her.
And so, Erica finds herself accompanying the group more and more often as their number one official fan. Her presence reassures Elliot, more focused on her than anything else, but making it easier for him to accept anything and everything, especially for their first official photoshoot.
Erica rests her forehead against Elliot's, and the two young lovers spend a moment holding each other close, Elliot's words still echoing in their heads. A song won't magically fix everything, but for one moment, nothing seems impossible to them.
The final notes resonate in the air, while Erica locks eyes with Elli, overcome with emotions at the thought that he wrote something like this for her. Elli's eyes scan every subtle expression on his girlfriend's face, capturing the moment so he can relive it over and over again.
Elliot dares to look at Erica for the first time since he started singing, a smile floating on his lips as he watches her, still lost in her memories. The anxiety that she might hate what he had written for her suddenly vanishes.
Erica rests her head against Elliot's shoulder, closes her eyes, and lets herself be washed over by the music and the wave of memories flooding back.
Erica expects a typical song from the band—something he’s played for her before or something Isaac wrote. Her heart skips a beat when she sees that Elli isn’t as relaxed as usual, and when he starts humming lyrics that reflect them, that reflect 𝙝𝙚𝙧.
Talking with his mother really helped him get past his writer's block, so much so that he spent days and days writing pages about Erica, their relationship, and his feelings. A knot suddenly forms in his throat, but Elli focuses on his guitar, avoiding Erica's gaze, afraid he won't be able to play.
The walk to a less crowded room was even quieter than Erica could have imagined, to not say a bit awkward. Elliot walks with his head down, his hands in his pockets, deep in thought, beating time to a song that only he seems to hear.
Dim grumbles when he sees Elli leaving the studio. The latter has a bit of a tendency to get sidetracked during his endless and all-too-frequent cig breaks, ending with sessions dragging on a little too late for Dim’s liking; the band is still young, and he doesn’t like making them work that late.
Once the recording is finished, Elli rushes over to her and spins her around in his arms. Not only is he still buzzing from the adrenaline of the recording, but he has a very specific reason for having her come over. Erica raises an eyebrow, particularly intrigued by his obvious excitement.
When Elli notices her, his eyes light up, his heart filling with joy at finally seeing her here. He doesn’t get distracted, though, singing perhaps with more intensity—just as he does at every concert where she’s in the front row. Because singing for her will always inspire him to do better.
But watching Elliot's metamorphosis when he's in his element has become an addiction for her. She is mesmerized, captivated by the way the music echoes through his entire soul. She falls in love with him all over again every time, 𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 making her forget all their problems.
The studio door opens silently, and Erica slips inside as discreetly as possible. She bites the inside of her cheeks, still unsure about being there—she’d hesitated greatly when Elli invited her to attend one of their recordings—and keeps wondering if her presence might be a bother.
