Up too early on the first day of a long weekend for an overnight trip to Vancouver to see a show.
THIS. WAS. FANTASTIC!!! Went way down to HADESTOWN today. Also, got a haircut.
What I ordered… What I got… what I trade it for 😬 Evidently there was a mix up with my order; my local record store did accept a trade, though. I hope the disappointed metal head who placed the order I received has managed to use my order to their advantage.
The last order of Confessions II finally arrived. I think I’ve shown remarkable restraint getting only 6 of the 19 (physical) variants.
Today I did something I hadn’t done in almost 36 years: I went to a record store (two, actually — one of them had promo posters) and purchased a Madonna vinyl LP (umm… in multiple variants) on release day! Last time I did this I was 14 and living in a different country.
Nothing like the chaotic energy of An Evening with Pink Martini to bring some joy to a hard week! Merch was purchased.
The Masters of the Universe movie was so much fun! Got some merch and took the opportunity to wear my Prince Adam hoodie. 😜
The guy at the comic book store gifted me these — in preparation for tomorrow’s movie release — just because 🤩

Went to a new vintage store cord store I heard a neighbor talking about and found the first LP I bought (well, that my mom bought me) that didn’t have a clown or an animal on the cover. Mom took me and my siblings to see the movie and I begged to get the soundtrack.
Last opera of the 2025-26 season: Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice. It’s intermission and the staging is so beautiful so far…
