Notifications CTAs are better in the next release of talat. Today, the "Dismiss" button carries equal weight with the secondary CTA ("Stop recording" in the second shot). The danger CTA state ("Delete recording") is completely new - a glaring gap in today's notifications 🫣

We have thousands of unit and in-memory database tests on talat, but the stability of our end-to-end suite - which drives the real desktop application we ship to users - has suffered recently. Not anymore. Pleased to get this one green again 🟢

Another talat dictation feature coming soon (built purely to scratch my own itch): refocus the *last* app you dictated into. Great when you're having e.g. an ongoing conversation with Claude and don't want to have to manually refocus your terminal to resume it

Looking forward to shipping this one. I can't count the number of times I've absent-mindedly hit escape during a long, rambling dictation and accidentally cancelled it. The next version of talat gives you two seconds grace to undo a cancellation and pick up dictating where you left off.

I selfishly snuck in a new @talat.app feature purely for ME. My home office is upstairs, my wife's is downstairs, and if we're both on a call with our doors open (summer - it's hot), speech from her room could occasionally leak into my transcripts. Well, not anymore 😎

I'm aware that the @talat.app pricing page is... awful. Each pricing tier is basically just a different way of paying for the same thing: there is no feature gating on different plans, so I can't do a classic plan vs. feature comparison table. Roasts in the thread, please 👇

We built a tool for @talat.app where AI agents can upload screenshots with context (branch, commit, description, etc), and humans and AI can search the 'gallery' I love it. It's a durable, visual evolution of the product, and lets agents attach and 'see' screenshots on GitHub PRs

Back in March, @talat.app got hit with a Stripe chargeback - when someone disputes a charge directly with their bank. Disputes cost us money and do permanent reputational harm. As a vendor, the odds are stacked against you winning if you contest, and electing to contest costs you MORE money (1/...)

June talat highlights: - Dictation mode - File import mode - Better multilingual support, especially for non-latin and right-to-left languages - Improved capitalisation and punctuation during real-time transcription - A more capable MCP connector that writes to talat as well as reading from it

I'm sure I sound like a broken record at this point, but I am enormously proud of the latest talat release. Every significant release we ship makes the last one feel obsolete. And we've already got a ton more awesome stuff lined up for the *next* release.

0.13.0 is here and it is *huge*! - Chapters - Actions - Hugely improved multilingual experience - Faster, more accurate real-time transcription previews - Tons more over at talat.app/changelog We're closer than ever to 1.0.0 - there's never been a better time to grab talat at pre-release pricing.

Woohoo! No more bumping into ultra-conservative Claude design limits. Might not be celebrating if/when Claude Design chews through my quota faster than usual, but for now, awesome.

"Claude design now shares uage limits with Claude.ai and Claude Code."
