I found out you can use the line2d node in godot to make some nifty tube sprites, if I can find a way to save them as a png that would really help out in pixel art
I beat super mario world for the first time... I'm very happy right now.
...why are there 1000+ spike entities, there's no way I actually used that many....
I made 3 new signs, one for pits, spikes, and sliding respectively, I don't know if im going to use the last one but at least it's there im not entirely sure if it's necessary, but my hope is that they serve as a heads up when moving fast, it's hard to know whats ahead in 2D in this game #gamedev
Originally, "ROCKET!!" was going to be a different game, but I couldn't quite make it yet due to my lack of experience, then it became something else beyond even that, but I didn't like it & decided to go with what I was going to do before that again.
I fixed the time trial bug, maybe I spoke too soon, perhaps it will be in the next demo after all.
The more features I add, the more complicated things get, I began adding a time trial mode, it works but it's still a little buggy & Im not sure why, I dont know if it'll be in this next demo...
Still figuring out good audio/video, it's a mystery to me on these platforms...
I don't know how an MP4 can weigh less then a GIF, but I sure learned it can today, must be magic
