"Respect your Elders" Nathaniel Hawkingfisher and Artemis Falcone. One embraced the outside world for it's uniqueness and beauty. The other saw it for its financial value. One loved to take risks, the other preferred a sheltered life. Learn more about them in the Alt Text.

Nathaniel J. Hawkingfisher Bio: Born in Casa Pajaro, California, Nathaniel dreamed of traveling the world. Having been raised in a rural part of the country, he had limited exposure to other cultures as a child. It wouldn’t be until his teenage years that he would meet Artemis Falcone, the great-grandson of the founder of Casa Pajaro and son of the wealthiest family in the state, that he would be able to see the world and the many mythical creatures that inhabit it. Nathaniel would travel to different parts of the world, and Artemis would provide the funding to research his discoveries. This friendship faded when they encountered the “Bottom-Jawed Green” Sea Serpent. An internal fight would ensue, causing Nathaniel and Artemis to separate. Now forced into retirement, Nathaniel lives a secluded life far from the city with his grandson, Malco. While he is too old to see the world for himself, he hopes Malco will do the same and return glory and honor to the family name. Artemis Falcone
Bio: Born and raised into wealth, Artemis didn’t grow up with many friends. His parents bought most of his friendships, and he was restricted from talking to commoners. The first and only real friend he had was Nathaniel, who didn’t see him for his wealth. Whenever the Falcone family would travel, he would always come along. This would inspire Artemis and Nathaniel to travel the world and become the most well-known crypto-zoologist duo in Casa Pajaro. After a dispute regarding the discovery of the “Bottom-Jawed Green” Sea Serpent, their partnership ended. As they went their separate ways, Artemis became more interested in politics and ran for Mayor of Casa Pajaro, winning the election in 1992 and maintaining said position for 30 years. He has, since then, forbidden all forms of traveling from the city by sea and will stop anybody who gets in his way.

Cyrus Bio: Cyrus is one of a very rare species of sea serpent known as the "Bottom-jawed Green". He's the team's back up mode of transportation as well as a guide through the Oceano Lagarto islands. Personality: Wise, Friendly, Jovial, protective.
