Adobe walked back ending Animate, but I'm still going through with my plans dump Creative Cloud. Going to use free/open source alternatives to Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects, etc. Gonna try to get my hands on a copy of Flash CS6 to use going forward. Hope a viable alternative appears.

What the actual fuck? Animate was the only reason I was going to get Creative Cloud back. I have ongoing projects that use Animate that won't be done in a year. Plus I have a backlog of stuff I won't be able to edit or pull assets from unless I convert everything. Fuck Adobe. Fuck them so very hard.
