My friend told me the guy he’s seeing now shared some short stories with him that he wrote. One of the stories was about a man who becomes obsessed with a ginkgo tree in a botanical garden. He tries to have sex with it and even chops down “competing” male ginkgo trees.

Did my first city sponsored health check (as opposed to a corporate one) and I was pretty impressed. It was annoying applying to every check that I got a coupon for but besides that it was easy to navigate.
I have a game “liked” in my Book Off app so I get updates when the price goes down. I saw the price go down and got an email about it. I didn’t buy it because I have no money. I was browsing shelves in Ikebukuro and decided to check to see if the price was reflected.
We were aiming to eat something different today but the rain had other plans ⛈️
I think the most frustrating thing is just being told my art isn’t good enough with no specifics. I don’t have much self-esteem, but I do have enough to rebut with “I think I can draw some things pretty competently” 😭
