Had an early appointment at NKC Health and it took 5 minutes, so I stopped at the relatively new River Forest Park, which is located just west of the hospital. I had the park all to myself—if you don't count the wildlife.

Barry Road is not in Jackson County. But never mind that. The point is, f*ck Frank White. Our taxes went up 89% in one year. So, 74% illegal, I guess. (And what is "people who paid property taxes in 2024 and 2024"? I guess I'm in grumpy editor mode today.)

The settlement would include more than 200,000 people who paid property taxes in 2024 and 2024, and would return all the money Jackson County charged in assessments that was over the state-mandated 15% cap.
