I always feel like ghost shrimp are so under appreciated. 2 weeks ago, I transferred 3 more ghost shrimp (ones that I’ve raised since birth) into the betta tank. They’re all developing this cool coloration to blend in better with their surroundings. Aaaaaa they’re just such neat lil guys! 🦐

The lone ghost shrimp I rescued on Sunday is still doing well. Noticed me staring at him this morning & scared himself😆 Been trying to get more ghost shrimp for weeks but they keep going out of stock since ppl use them as feeders. This guy was literally by himself & forgotten in the feeder tank🥲

Had a fun day today and won these at an arcade. Feel a huge weight off my shoulders and I’m even more sure of my decision to quit. Sometimes you really just gotta do what’s best for your own mental health 💚

Got a betta 2 weeks ago. She’s in what was supposed to be the new ghost shrimp tank. Didn’t plan on getting a fish but she kept staring at me while I was buying plants so I had to. She’s such a lil angel🥺 I’m sure she’s enjoying her new home a lot more than those tiny cups pet stores keep bettas in😭

Gnocchi met some of my shrimps and betta today 🦐🐠 He’s such a good boy though. Just laid down after a bit and watched the tanks while I fed all my lil guys 🥺 Meanwhile Plum would’ve tried to get on top of all the tanks which is why I usually don’t let the cats in there 😅
