Thoughts on "Trump Accounts?" I hate the fact that they are in his name, and that they will likely benefit only people who can afford to contribute. But it kinda seems crazy to not take advantage of the account for your kids if you have the means.

All this guy does is go around BlueSky defending SpaceX. Now instead just Tesla Stans, we have SpaceX Stans.
Starship development is not being subsidised by the U.S. government. Lane 1 development (what we are in now) is entirely funded by SpaceX for the core starship system

Two weeks ago today, after Nasdaq willingly rigged the rules, somewhere btw $7-10 bil of passive money was forced to buy SpaceX at $160.42 Today, 10 trading days later, it closed at $119.85 It’s an unprecedented forced loss (at least $2b) for passive investors and our financial media is 🦗
Age limits for Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Presidency please! I don't know why we have a nursing home running our country.

The Trump Accounts site shows the following estimates. To achieve these numbers, you need to contribute the yearly amount from birth until 55, not just the first 18 years. It assumes 10.5% growth. Most people can't afford to contribute $5k per year, and the growth assumptions are very aggressive
NEW from me: Americans are set to lose nearly $250B gambling this year—a record high, up more than 60% since 2019—and that's before counting unofficial betting via prediction markets or crypto Can anything stop America's gambling boom? 🧵
New wildfire near Leadville and Mt. Massive: the 300 acre “Willow Fire” is 0% contained after starting a first few hours ago. Strong 30-40 mph winds along with hot and dry conditions won’t help, though winds will relax some tonight. 📸: Ami Lopez #COwx
Wow. This focus group on the MAGA cult. Spoiler: not MAGA anymore. Tori Hurst: "They made me watch a documentary on January 6th, and I didn't even know what happened on January 6th prior... And I looked at him, and I said, 'Scott, did that really happen?' And he was like, 'Where have you been?’”

One of the most lopsided games you will see, yet Cape Verde pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the World Cup with a draw. Incredible!
Trump was so desperate to say the deal was done on his birthday he TACO’d & lifted the blockade immediately in exchange for Iran not attacking Israel … for a deal that’s not signed till next Friday and claiming HE opened the Strait of Hormuz that’s firmly under Iran’s control. He got played.
Morningstar values SpaceX at $63/share. It priced at $135, now trading ~$165. Only 1 of their 3 scenarios — the 7%-odds "moonshot" — justifies the offer price. The market is pricing the longshot as a sure thing.
I've been considering a BMW iX3 or Rivian R2 as our next vehicle. We have reservations for both. Surprisingly Rivian has already asked us to configure and take delivery of an R2. Unfortunately our current lease isn't up yet, and it won't make sense now. Hoping to push the decision to September

This is what Trump's done to the people's house: A third of it is rubble. Another third is a cage match. What a metaphor.

SpaceX isn't the financial juggernaut many were expecting, according to its IPO prospectus filed yesterday. It shows just how much the IPO depends on expectations for future growth and investor servility to Musk — not the current underlying business.
