I wish I knew how to quit you. 30+. 🔞

I hope he never removes the scar and would eventually stop associating it with feelings of guilt and obsession and all that ridiculous stuff. TJ is a 10, but he overthinks everything. 🧡

My gripe with #Wetsand seems endless, but it basically comes down to these 3 things. 1. WS should never have been marketed as a love triangle 2. TJ should’ve shared the MC spot with Ian (TJ being a ML is a disservice to him) 3. Jo should’ve been given the same significance as Ian’s other flings.

Doyak is an old fashioned romantic (judging by tjian’s final reunion). It had that classical “subverted statuses” setting where the hero falls from status and winds up with nothing; and the “heroine” is the one to hold his empty hands and make him whole again. BBC’s North & South did it beautifully.

Bruh with the way this plot is progressing, with all these filler chapters, and the possibility that the story has entered the final stretch, I’m just gonna prep myself for lots of rushed scenes and loose ends with no clear resolution.

I guess i can buy the physical volumes now that TJ is the confirmed endgame. But it’s a damn shame how season 3 has singlehandedly ruined the excitement of reading WS for me.

The way it was never about tjian vs joian for me. All I cared about was TJ whose potential has been wasted in this dumbass love triangle setup.

Still think this would have been so much better for the pacing instead of having Ian act like a soap opera character and pull out the IV and drive to another end of the city with a gunshot wound and have him take crucial decisions on behalf of ALL the 3 main characters.

My wishful thinking is that Jo brings up TJ on the car ride back to the city. This time Ian can’t shoot him down and is forced to talk about TJ because Jo deserves to hear about TJIan directly from Ian. And then maybe Jo can return the favour and tell Ian about what he did in Ch. 32.

Now, I want TJ to get his closure. It looks like he is once again left to shoulder all the consequences and blame by himself. Can’t imagine how deeply fucked up his life has been throughout. And he never got his flowers in all these years.

Rewatching Dawson’s Creek (aka THE love triangle for my generation) and I can’t stop thinking about how Wetsand is NOT a love triangle in any sense. Two leads going after the mc does not make it a triangle, unless the leads have a strong connection with e/o (best friends, siblings etc).
