I think the worst part of trying to find a job in this environment, and certainly the most demeaning, is have multiple degrees, including a PhD, with over 20+ relevant experience and begging for a position and then just being ignored because of my age. i’m 59 and I’ve never felt so old in my life.
anyway, the only things that I want to complain about these days are finding a lob, ageism in employment, and lying recruiters who blow smoke up your ass, and then are surprised that you don’t believe any of them. I am afraid that being homeless will be added to that list by the end of the year
