FYI: All my books are DRM-free on the Kindle store. I've always been against DRM.
Ether Diver@etherdiver.bsky.social · last mo.Minor point: if you have the actual, DRM free files, you DO own it. It's all the DRM-locked stuff that is ephemeral. I have MP3 and WAV and MP4 files on HDs that date from the early '00s -- I "own" these in a way at least as real as I "own" any VHS tape, for example (and I own many, many VHS).
