Spooky movie night for Halloween! We’re continuing the Guillermo Del Toro theme with… El Laberinto del Fauno, Pan’s Labyrinth! One of my absolute favorites, and well worth the watch if you can stomach it. Very glad I found it on dvd forever ago.

Finished the Pokopia Bubbly Basin! Was too cute and a very good usage of damn near every Water Type. A sunken Cerulean City is both a bit too obvious and yet, also, deeply inspired. I still need to max out most of the other environments, but I need to finish a number of other recent JRPGS.
Had a dream about being contracted to find a xenofauna slug for a guy who was addicted to its slime. The slime allowed him to regrow his head, but his thoughts always grew too big, leading to self-beheadings. There was a double-mouse and parkour-rat that had mutated from eating his discarded heads.

I had a dream that actor Dan Hedaya was the frontman of a govt. prison for artists who were vehemently against AI, and was training bots on their styles. Once the robots finished copying them entirely, the artist would be trapped inside a painting made by the AI. Was a legit nightmare.
