Led by youth. Built for change. Working to end gun violence.

The gun lobby has counted on confusion for years. But it isn't a mystery and it isn't invincible. It's a commercial industry that turns our lives into profit. Today we're launching The Machine, an interactive manual naming every part of it: machine.marchforourlives.org

The Machine: A User Manual for the American Gun Industry

Follow the money. Track the personnel. Trace the legislation. A guide to the gun industry machine — by March For Our Lives.

March For Our Lives was born from tragedy in 2018, and led ever since by people determined not to let that stay the story. This November, 11 of them run the New York City Marathon as Team March For Our Lives, because they refuse to accept gun violence as normal. Meet the team: mfol.us/marathon

If you follow us, you already know how gun violence gets talked about. Usually in numbers and in news cycles that come and go. But what's left out is everyone actually living it. The survivors carrying trauma, the families grieving, the communities that have been reshaped.

A gun ended another life this week. This time, a 26-year-old man is dead in Biddeford, Maine. Immigrant rights advocates say he was authorized to work in the United States, carried a Social Security number, and was leaving for his job when a federal immigration officer shot and killed him.
