It’s deep work in the early mornings that makes the biggest difference in your project’s progress.
I just finished a 20-hour, 7-minute fast. I do these almost daily, for a minimum of 16 hours.
I replaced my 2019 Intel MacBook Pro with the 2025 M4 MacBook Air last year. It’s a beautiful piece of hardware.
I dusted off my 2019 MacBook Pro. Will prep it soon for installing Omarchy.
I highly recommend reading Rework to anyone considering launching a digital startup. I’ve read it twice. Great book!
This is a short clip I recorded in November 2018 with my iPhone XS Max at the time, at Alouette Lake, when I was living in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. I visited this beautiful location often to manifest the future I am living today.
Linux is buzzing right now, partly because of Omarchy by DHH, and partly because many PC users are tired of Windows. Been there, done that—I left Windows for Macintosh in 2008. I still like the Mac, but I’m curious… if not Omarchy, which distro do most Linux users recommend?
Since 2008, the default web browser on my Macintosh computers has been Safari.
Due to watermarking, I’ve cancelled my Claude Max subscription, which I was using for Claude Code in VS Code. Should I switch to ChatGPT’s Codex, or is there something better?

I recently read Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind by Shunryu Suzuki on a flight across the world. Beginner’s mind is not a lack of knowledge. It is the ability to learn without allowing what we already know to close what remains possible.
François Nars’ Motu Tane is private island living at its most extraordinary. @thepinnaclelist.com presented the estate, with Bob Hurwitz and me on location in Bora Bora, French Polynesia.
My relationship with social media began in the era of MSN chat rooms and MySpace, long before today's platforms. I joined Twitter in 2008, and it became my primary social home. Over the years, I posted thousands of tweets.
First post on Bluesky, from West Vancouver in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, my home country, with a palm tree behind me and a clear blue sky overhead. A fitting place to begin.
