There's a fun reference to lion king along the sea to sky highway near Whistler/Squamish. Keep your eyes peeled on the west side of the highway if you get a chance! (It's also on Google Maps as "Pride Rock") Took a pic and made a little Gouache painting!
Cedar waxwing! One of my favourite birds. They're everywhere right now, very exciting.They love eating berries, and are named for their red tips on their wing feathers, that look like the colour of wax seals! Watercolour on HOT press paper, these guys look SMOOTH and I tried to convey that.

Apparently birds do have SOME control over their cloaca (bird butt & pee & xxx hole). To be free and pee and poop everywhere. That is what being a bird is all about. I have yet to poop my pants, hopefully it won't be coming for me soon ): That warm feeling of your own poop in your pants... #comics

It's #makeaterriblecomicday2026! It should be make-a-terrible-comic day everyday 🌈 Loons have their feet far back on their bodies, which makes them great swimmers, but makes it hard to walk. They're such beautiful birds, and their call is so haunting! (based on a post in r/birding--link below)
Kalamalka lake near Vernon, BC! I used the largest brush to try to keep things simple and quick (for reference, this is a 13cm x 8cm or 5" x 3.5" piece with a 12 round brush). A little bit of neocolours here and there, and ta-da!
