I have walked by this moss covered tree many times, hoping to get a good angle on it. On this day, I was early and the sun was streaming onto the branches & and also reflecting off the lake! It was flat calm, so the reflection looks like a second sun haha!

This is a pretty perfect photo of hills, oaks, lake and reflections! I was out early, so the sun is a warmer orange color. The sky was waking up, sun was low, water calm & very few other people. I walked 2 hours…It was just stunning!

This is Mt Tamalpias, and the lake. I played with a swirl filter, and I eventually got this. The horizon is swirling over the mountain and trees, and reflected in the lake so it’s also swirled with a distorted trail. I love this, I laughed! I think this one was a mistake but so wonderful!

Good morning! This is either an Oyster Mushroom, or a False Oyster. I don’t know. But I love the graceful dip down and then reaching up maybe like Ballerinas? Off white to cream, surrounded by lichen, a little bejewelled web, the log it’s using, and some woods behind.

“I’ve got Sunshine, On a Cloudy day…” Oysters today, I’m determined to do another show next year. I’ve been wrangling my favorite shots into one folder…folders, folders, folders. I’m highly trained to organise, but pain can make that tough…so I give myself more time. Have a great day Bluesky!

Cluster of Oyster mushrooms, growing out of an oak tree last Spring…I think they’re stunning all growing together! They are kind of Oyster colored, or cream color, and the moss is very happy, looking up to the top of the tree. Cloudy day…but there’s sunshine in the mushrooms!
