MARE*GO is sailing again. Last Monday she left Ceuta, crossed the street of Gibraltar and is know entering the Atlantic Ocean! One flip around the corner and along the coast of Portugal. The weather conditions are sometimes challenging, but the old lady is on her way back home.

We have to cancel the three-month deployment for summer 2024. After the first three weeks, there are too many small and large technical issues and security concerns. We now have to look for the causes and solve problems from the ground up instead of just dealing with the symptoms.

Today we received an e-mail from a distress case by @alarmphone.bsky.social . As we searched for them, we found another boat in need of assistance! We provided lifejackets and accompanied them for hours until the Italian Coast Guard took them on board! #zusammenland #safepassage #defendsolidarity
