A few pics of my walk from Newcastle to Hawick in the Scottish Borders last week. 85 miles, 5 nights camping, 4 swims, & 2 horsefly bites. It was hot and windy, but there were memorable moments: Barn Owls an Osprey and miles of wildflowers alive with butterflies.

Day 5 of 9 of my Tour of Monte Rosa. Resy to the Matterhorn and our highest hut at 10,876 ft (Rifugio Teodulo). 11 miles, 5084 ft ascent.
Day 4 of my Tour of Monte Rosa (Gabiet to Resy). An easier hike today of 10 miles and 3181ft ascent. So also enjoyed coffee and apple pie on route and a swim in an icy tarn.
