A few pics of my walk from Newcastle to Hawick in the Scottish Borders last week. 85 miles, 5 nights camping, 4 swims, & 2 horsefly bites. It was hot and windy, but there were memorable moments: Barn Owls an Osprey and miles of wildflowers alive with butterflies.

Incredible aerosol reaching Val Veny bottom at 3 pm today! ❄️ The avalanche is coming from the slope below Noire de Peuterey (3773 m) and what you see here is the blast of the avalanche (=no danger) reaching the Val Veny (La Zerotta lift at 1520 m) near Courmayeur! 💨 📽️ Via Meteo Valle d'Aosta

Another new game this evening with a strong wildlife gardening theme: #Pergola. Not the most strategic of games with a 'point salad' of victory points based on various plants and insects in your garden, but a relaxing diversion for Sunday evening.
