The Breath of Autumn
A moment on the border of the seasons. September is a fleeting instant between the fading summer and the beginning of autumn. A moment of silence and solitude. At this moment, the girl stands and feels the breath of autumn, seeing summer off and welcoming autumn. The breath of autumn touches her body, soul, and heart. She notices how summer is fading away and autumn is awakening. The girl contemplates the beauty of the present moment and the beauty of the landscape around her. Around her are mountains, forests, fields, a small lake, a light haze, and yellow foliage that seems to have absorbed all the sun of the departing summer and is now ready to show its beauty in the melodious dance of autumn. colored pencils, 2026
