Soichiro Hoshi and Tetsu Shiratori combinations in 3 different Sunrise's works (Infinite Ryvius, s-CRY-ed and Gundam SEED) If these 3 works have something in common, is that Shiratori's characters always get beat up by Hoshi's characters.

I think Infinite Ryvius is going to be yet another show that I might need to rewatch more than once to get a fully grasp. For one, the show has too many regulars that it's hard for me to keep track on everyone and the story too.

Bin Shimada voiced this character in Infinite Ryvius, Lucson Hojo. For how much people associate Shimada with Broly, funny how outside Dragon Ball, Shimada tends to voiced a lot butt monkeys or one off characters, like this one right here, who's a coward often berated by others.

Guess which agency doesn't have a seiyuu with Girlfriend role in 100 Girlfriends as of right now? Aoni Production That's right, the biggest voice talent in the industry has literally 0 seiyuu in 100 Girlfriends. Meanwhile, Arts Vision has Lynn (Mimimi)

The irony is despite Precure is a Toei produced works, Aoni has quite possibly one of the worst track record in term of main roles, with the last one being GoPri, +10 years ago Guess this is what happened when you don't have Aoni as the show's primary casting agency.

Cooperation : Aoni Production (Dragon Ball DAIMA) Toei produced works generally have Aoni Production as their primary casting agency, hence why you usually see alot of samey names in Toei's works (minus Precure, which has Toei Tokyo Studio as casting agency) #DragonBall

Say this again, I still really wish Dragon Ball could've done more to Yukiyo Fujii instead of keep giving her mob roles when she's naturally someone to be Yuuko Minaguchi's successor. While in Roshidere and Uma Musume, Fujii is treated like respective series royalties.

A tidbit of my experience with Dragon Ball DAIMA, when I watched Episode 2 live with the Minis, I can already immediate tell some of the seiyuus. Namely, Krillin and Vegeta not voiced by their original VAs. I just have that good ears and being a seiyuu enthusiast for 20 +years

Being the newer seiyuus in Dragon Ball, this includes newer VAs for legacy characters often don't find much luck there, as DB tend not to do anything to push their newer talents. Resulting their contributions will soon be forgotten while mainstream recognitions.

...Which that's not the direction that Dragon Ball is clearly going for with a few exceptions. (Mai Nakahara's Bulma and Ryota Suzuki's Yamcha, who's an established rookie.) They got attentions mostly because they sounded like originals rather than the seiyuu themselves.

Given (JP) general responses of legacy characters w/ new seiyuus praised for them sounding like the originals. Namely Yudai Mino's Vegeta, Ryota Suzuki's Yamcha, Mitsuaki Kanuka's Majin Buu, regardless of who their seiyuus are This may shows that Dragon Ball is all about...

Not sure how did I miss this, must've been Dragon Ball usual bad PR. But in Sparking Zero NEO, Mitsuaki Kanuka is the current seiyuu of Majin Buu. Succeeding the late Kozo Shioya after his passing in January 2026 #DragonBall #SparkingZero
