The Lakewood zoning referendum passed, which means the new zoning code will be repealed. Another NIMBY win. Ugh.
State Assembly is complete. Next up: Primary Election, Precinct Organizing and (possibly) running for my House District Secretary position.

Make Lakewood Livable has out-raised their anti-zoning opponents 5:1!!! Ballots go out today! If you live or have friends in Lakewood tell them to vote NO to stop the appeal and keep the zoning overhaul that has taken years to accomplish!

I gave up on county assembly after 9.5 hours. My State Senate race is uncontested so I think ML Duran will be ok that I left to eat and lie flat on my floor for an indeterminate amount of time. NINE AND A HALF HOURS AND IT WAS STILL GOING! MOST OF OUR RACES ARE UNCONTESTED! 😵

Today's JeffCo Assembly just got easier! Hick abandoned us in the Senate by voting for DT nominees more than any other Dem and now he's abandoning the party process because he has money to buy petitioners. It's time for grandpa to retire. We need a strong fighter like Senadora Gonzales!

JeffCo Caucus was this morning. It was on zoom but my house district had an in person with some elected officials. We voted on precinct organizers and county delegates. I'm a county delegate! Next Saturday is JeffCo County Assembly where I'll run to be a delegate at the State Assembly in 2 weeks!
